QuizList

QuizList is a list of pub quizzes I’ve either been to or heard about, sorted by day of the week. The site is based in London but I will list quizzes outside London if you send me details.

Generally speaking, most quizzes start around 8.30 or 9 pm, earlier on a Sunday. I haven’t listed a starting time for every quiz but if one tends to start considerably earlier or later than those times, I’ve tried to note this. It’s worth remembering that some of the Central quizzes are aimed at people after work and may start earlier. Minimum and maximum team sizes differ from pub to pub and in some places if you go as a very large group, you may be asked to split up.

Most quizzes charge £1 per person for entry, some charge £2 and some are free. The ‘free entry’ ones are indicated on the list where I know about them.

I will alert you to changes in the listings as I’m made aware of them. However, while people often mail me about new quizzes, they are less likely to let me know when one stops running. Therefore, please check out whether the quiz is running or cancelled due to sport or whatever, with the pub, before you set out to a particular quiz listed. And please send the details of any quizzes which are no longer running, or have changed night of the week.
