Hello again, and as we begin the descent to Christmas  a correspondent has sent me some Wednesday quizzes which no loner take place on Wednesdays.  Thanks to him for that (for some reason my e-mail bounced back) and I’ll be making the updates in due course.  I have remarked on this phenomenon previously, namely, that pubs begin Wednesday quizzes with great intentions and then realise that football is more popular/profitable and the quiz gets dropped or shifted.  Any nominations for decent remaining Wednesday quizzes gratefully received.

Also, I’ve got some information for would-be contestants on a new series of  ‘The Chase’, so let me know if you’re interested.  Now, was that the one where you were supposed to hate the ‘quiz experts’, or was that…  no, never mind.  They’re all beginning to blur a little.
