Right now, someone else has that number. (See below).
Two new Monday quizzes:
The Gun, 27 Coldharbour, Docklands, London E14 9NS. 7 pm start, £2 per person with maximum 6 to a team, first prize £100 bar tab.
The Cadogan Arms, 298 Kings Road, London SW3 5UG, 7.30 pm start, again £2 per head and max 6 to a team, with first prize being a bar tab but I’m not sure how much.
Many thanks for sending those in.
Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on me.

Which all signals that the current moral dilemma, or one of them, facing me, is whether I return for the third time to a pub quiz which we’ve been to twice, but we were convinced both times that there was a manufactured result. The second time was more than just suspicion as I even took the answer sheets from the QM’s table before the bar staff threw them out, so I have the evidence of the phantom totals. Still.
I’ve seen things like this before, and anyone who says that it doesn’t take place is in a blissful state of innocence. Usually, what happens is that the QM/pub staff like to encourage either locals, regulars, or their mates, so give them a helping hand by dodgy scoring.
Well, I’ll keep you posted….
Third clue, placename question, coming up. And thanks for the early guesses – I see how your minds are working. Here it comes:
