Don’t trust your luck…
‘Don’t trust your luck
Turn round! Run like the clappers!’
as Billy Connolly once said. Don’t trust your luck at some quizzes is my constant message, and while on holiday last week we met a man who had tales of the local quizzes calculated to make a Londoner’s blood run cold. I think the worst was the one which entices you in with the £50 prize, charges £5 per team, and is won by? I quote: ‘The bar staff and the quizmaster’. Though, what am I talking about, worse happens in London, but perhaps a little less blatantly.
To happier things. News of some pop quizzes, mailed to me by the quizmaster -
