For those of you who don’t recognise it, the statement above is one of the most famous political anagrams ever, and just seems quite relevant at the moment…

Quiz-wise, I take it all back (i.e. what I said about the John Baird Sunday quiz in last week’s posting).  We got there at 8.45 last Sunday to find out that apparently the other customers had been asked whether they wanted to take part in a quiz and it had been decided that there weren’t enough teams.  Hence, no quiz.  Never mind, we went to see Bobby in the Windsor Castle.

Thanks to Eddie for sending me a detail/change for one of the quizzes listed.  In terms of changes, I passed the White Bear in Hendon today and it seemed to be closed - so probably no Tuesday quiz there.  If anyone knows differently let me know.

The new Time Out Pubs and Bars guide is out, and that usually means details of some quizzes I hadn’t known about before.  I’ll alert you to any new listings over the next couple of weeks.

I haven’t been informed of any changes for the Bank Holiday, but check Monday quizzes are running before you set out…
